CHALLENGE: we typically get stuck in a ‘service rut’ and can’t see beyond what we’ve been taught and what we did yesterday.
I share new ideas and skills to build competence and awareness.

GuestWise – how to correctly interact with guests and how to know when to move on
CHALLENGE: too often staff lack confidence simply through lack of knowledge of a menu, or fancy terminology used which compromises their everything from their demeanor to their ability to communicate.
Knowledge is the waiters weapon to satisfying a guests needs and helping to upsell smoothly and stylishly. I assist in improving staff knowledge, building up their confidence and enhancing their ability to communicate effectively with the guest.
CHALLENGE: When a guest is paying top dollar to stay or eat in an establishment, often that top dollar value and expectation is not translated in the staffs attitude, values and behaviour.
I work through 4 fundamental areas, VALUES, ATTITUDE, RESPECT AND SELF RESPECT. This can be done in a group or one-on-one.
HOW DO YOU KEEP UP WITH IT ALL?
CHALLENGE: Every day there are new restaurants that are trendier. New Guesthouses with bathrooms bigger than bedrooms! New Hotels with better and more creative guest experiences...
My “fresh eye/white glove approach ” gives you real-time reporting and assessments of your entire offering followed by an in-depth analysis and report back on your current operation, together with a detailed plan of action to implement any changes or training.

CHALLENGE: Too often the finer details are overlooked when designing and planning... The Architect obsesses over the big picture and the Interior designer ignores those boring practical details.
I come in as the middleman – offering crucial insights on what the guest (remember them!) needs to make their stay comfortable and practical, yet luxurious.
My key areas of expertise: Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Restaurants, Bars, Lounge and Reception areas.
